Indorama Ventures Showcases Certified Bio-Based PET Fibers at Dornbirn Global Fiber Congress

Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited (IVL), a leading global sustainable chemical company, is advancing the shift to low-carbon textiles with its scalable, certified bio-based PET fibers and yarns under the deja™ Bio portfolio. The company will highlight its achievements at the upcoming Dornbirn Global Fiber Congress, September 10–12, where Claire Mattelet, Global Sustainability Program Head for IVL’s Fibers Business, will present on building a certified low-carbon supply chain at scale.

Certified Supply Chain at Scale

IVL has developed an integrated supply chain, certified through ISCC+ mass-balance methodology, ensuring traceability and compliance across the entire process. Renewable feedstocks such as used cooking oil are blended with fossil-based raw materials in existing systems, with certified allocation to final products. This approach secures reliable bio-based inputs, streamlines certification, and delivers consistent PET fibers and yarns chemically identical to conventional counterparts.

Accelerating Market Adoption

By leveraging existing infrastructure, R&D capabilities, and proven technologies, IVL ensures its bio-based PET maintains equal performance in durability, dyeability, and strength, enabling brand owners and converters to quickly qualify products while immediately reducing scope 3 emissions. This seamless compatibility with current production lines allows faster adoption of sustainable solutions without compromising quality.

Call to Action

With a strong commitment to scaling sustainable textiles, IVL invites brand owners, manufacturers, and partners to engage with the deja™ Bio portfolio, which also includes PLA-based solutions. The company emphasizes that the technology is ready, the supply chain is certified, and the market opportunity is immediate.
