Introducing Heimtextil Uzbekistan/Texworld Tashkent/Apparel Sourcing Tashkent new industry showcase for interior and contract textiles, as well as products, services and textile equipment materials and fabrics for the fashion industry and clothing.

Heimtextil Uzbekistan/Texworld Tashkent/Apparel Souring Tashkent will make its debut from 6 – 8 November 2024. This three-day event, hosted at the prestigious CAEx exhibition center in Tashkent, aims to position itself as the premier regional showcase in the textile field.

Highlighting the diversity of textile products, Heimtextil Uzbekistan, focussing on interior and contract textiles will run in tandem with Texworld Tashkent, an exhibition showcasing apparel fabrics ranging from handmade to cutting-edge materials, and Apparel Sourcing Tashkent, a platform exclusively dedicated to ready-to-wear clothing.

Licensed by Messe Frankfurt and organized by BMCA Uzbekistan, the inaugural events will welcome over 200 exhibitors and 15.000 visitors. The exhibition will present various types of textile products, ranging from yarn and fibers to finished products. Heimtextil Uzbekistan will cover all product groups of home textile like: blankets, cushions, tablecloths, bed linen and etc.

However, Texworld Tashkent will include all product groups of apparel fabrics like: knitting, weaving, denim and furthermore, as well as embroidery & lace and accessories. In terms of Apparel Sourcing Tashkent, in this exhibition will be presented product groups of ready-madegarments of Men’s, Women’s, Children’s and Accessories (shoes, bags and leather goods).

The list of main participating countries is: China, UAE, Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkey, India, Uzbekistan, Pakistan and many more. The main target group of the visitors are expected to be from Uzbekistan, China, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and etc., these include manufacturers of fabrics and materials, clothing and textile designers, clothing store owners, fashion lovers, retailers, wholesalers, HoReCa buyers, interior designers, investors and entrepreneurs in the textile field.

Heimtextil Uzbekistan/Texworld Tashkent/Apparel Sourcing Tashkent is strategically timed, capitalizing on the country´s booming textile sector, which witnessed a remarkable 13.9% increase, producing 47.6 thousand tons of knitted fabrics in 2023 compared to the previous year. In 2023, the volume of real estate sales in Uzbekistan increased by 5.7%, reaching 272.4 thousand apartments sold, exceeding the previous year’s results by 257 thousand transactions. As a result, there was also an increase in demand for home textiles, which amounted $1 billion in 2023, which is 16% higher compared to 2022. In 2023 from January to December, Uzbekistan produced textile products worth $3.05 billion for export. This list included:

  • Finished textile products – $1.3 billion;
  • Yarn – $1.2 billion;
  • Knitted fabric – $384.8 million;
  • Hosiery – $164.9 million.

Heimtextil Uzbekistan/Texworld Tashkent/Apparel Sourcing Tashkent will be a gateway for textile professionals to unveil innovations, foster invaluable business connections, and share experiences with industry colleagues. The trade fair is not only a forum for exchange of ideas but also a catalyst for the growth and development of Uzbekistan´s textile sector.
