On the opening day of Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition 2025, Messe Frankfurt welcomed exhibitors, partners, and international guests to a special gala dinner, Intertextile Home Night, held at the InterContinental Shanghai NECC Ballroom. The evening brought together industry leaders from around the world, highlighting the fair’s role as a hub for connection, collaboration, and innovation.
Addressing attendees, Ms. Wendy Wen, Managing Director of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, extended a warm welcome and underlined the international spirit that defines Intertextile Shanghai:

Your presence reaffirms the strong international spirit that defines Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles. Reflecting on the success of last year’s 30th anniversary edition, Ms. Wen emphasized that this year’s fair is focused on the future. She highlighted the rapid evolution of the home and contract textile industry, driven by new technologies, changing consumer expectations, and the growing importance of sustainability.
“At Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles, we are committed not only to keeping up with current trends – but also helping shape what comes next,” Ms. Wen said. “This platform continues to serve as a vital meeting place where ideas are exchanged, partnerships are formed, and innovation is on full display.”
The Managing Director also expressed gratitude to the show’s key partners – the China Home Textile Association and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT – for their continuous support and shared vision in advancing the industry.
The gala dinner fostered networking in a warm and celebratory atmosphere, as exhibitors and buyers exchanged insights and strengthened business relationships ahead of the three-day exhibition.
