Hyosung Introduces New Mipan regen ocean Animated Video

Hyosung TNC’s Ocean Protection Initiative: My Pan Region Ocean

Did you know that every year, more than 150 million tons of waste end up in our oceans—and nearly 10% comes from discarded fishing nets? These abandoned nets not only pollute the marine ecosystem but also cause injury, suffering, and even death to over 100,000 marine animals.

Through its Ocean Care Project, Hyosung TNC is taking action. The company collects abandoned fishing nets and runs dedicated programs to sort and recycle them, ensuring they don’t end up back in the sea.

The recycled nylon from these nets is given a new life as My Pan Region Ocean, a sustainable material now used in high-quality products such as bags, clothing, and other lifestyle essentials. By reducing marine waste and transforming it into valuable resources, Hyosung TNC is helping protect ocean life while creating a more sustainable future.

Join Hyosung TNC in its mission to clean the oceans and support sustainable innovation.
