ENHAS Machinery Targets Asian Market Expansion at ITMA ASIA + CITME Singapore 2025

Turkish industrial manufacturer ENHAS Machinery has outlined its Asian market expansion strategy during ITMA ASIA + CITME Singapore 2025, marking the company’s first participation in the Asian edition of the world’s leading textile machinery exhibition after more than two decades of continuous presence at ITMA events in Europe.

Speaking to MENA Covering on the sidelines of the exhibition, Bingül Püskül, Chairman of the Board of ENHAS Machinery, highlighted Asia—particularly India, South Korea, and other key textile-producing countries—as a strategic priority for the company’s next phase of export-driven growth.

A Family-Owned Engineering Legacy

Established in 1970 as a sole proprietorship and transformed into a family-owned company in 1998, ENHAS Machinery is headquartered in Istanbul and specializes in braking and coupling systems for weaving machines. The company’s core product portfolio includes ROTOR, DISC, and MAGNET braking systems, designed to deliver operational stability, durability, and precision in high-speed weaving environments.

ENHAS-branded coupling systems are compatible with a wide range of globally installed weaving machines, including those manufactured by SULZER RUTI, PICANOL, SOMET, VAN DE WIELE, VAMATEX, GUNNE, NUOVA PIGNONE, SMIT, and LEONARDO, reflecting the company’s strong focus on interoperability and long-term machine performance.

Asia as a Strategic Growth Frontier

ENHAS Machinery currently exports to numerous international markets, including the United States, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Hong Kong, India, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Pakistan, and Egypt. While maintaining established positions in Europe and North America, the company views Asia as a high-potential region due to its large installed base of weaving machinery and continued investment in textile manufacturing.

“India is particularly important for us,” Püskül noted. “The concentration of textile companies operating weaving machines creates long-term opportunities for cooperation and market development.”

First Experience at ITMA ASIA + CITME

Despite ongoing global economic uncertainty, ENHAS Machinery considers its participation in ITMA ASIA + CITME Singapore 2025 a strategic step toward evaluating market response and building new commercial relationships. “We have been exhibiting at ITMA events in Europe for over 20 years,” Püskül said. “This is our first experience at ITMA ASIA + CITME, and we will assess the exhibition’s impact in the months following the event.”

Manufacturing Capacity and Quality Focus

The company operates a comprehensive machinery park equipped with lathes, milling machines, and CNC systems, with continued investment in new CNC equipment to increase capacity and precision. ENHAS Machinery emphasizes consistent quality, technical reliability, and customer satisfaction as essential elements of its manufacturing philosophy—particularly in applications where braking performance directly influences weaving efficiency and fabric quality.

From MENA Covering’s perspective, ENHAS Machinery’s presence at ITMA ASIA + CITME Singapore 2025 reflects a broader industry trend: specialized, family-owned engineering companies leveraging global exhibitions to diversify export markets toward Asia, while maintaining strong technical foundations and long-standing relationships in mature regions.
