Shymkent-based Bal Tekstil continues to reinforce its status as one of Kazakhstan’s largest and most advanced carpet producers. The company specializes in manufacturing carpets, carpet products, and polypropylene yarns, relying on raw materials sourced from Russia, Turkey, Bangladesh, India, and several other countries. Production is carried out on high-tech Belgian Michel Van De Wiele equipment, recognized globally for precision and efficiency.
Expanding Export Markets and Increasing Production Capacity
Bal Tekstil exports its products to a wide range of international markets, including Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Great Britain, Germany, Azerbaijan, and France. According to the South Kazakhstan regional administration, the company currently serves over 20 major foreign customers and is actively working to enter the European and Chinese textile markets.
The factory boasts an impressive annual production capacity of over 5 million square meters of carpets and rugs across 2,000 different designs. Its workforce consists of highly skilled specialists, many of whom received professional training in Turkey to meet global production standards.

In addition to carpets, Bal Tekstil manufactures 4,000 tons of polypropylene yarns per year, further strengthening its vertical integration and competitive position in the region. The company currently employs 236 people, contributing significantly to local industrial development.
