Shymkent-based company Bal Tekstil is a leader in the production of carpets in Kazakhstan, It also specializes in the production of carpets, carpet products and polypropylene yarns. Raw materials need for making carpets are bought from Russia, Turkey, Bangladesh, India and other states. Production of carpets is carried out on high-tech Belgian equipment Michel Van De Wiele.
The company exports its carpets to Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Great Britain, Germany, Azerbaijan and France. There are more than 20 large foreign customers, the South Kazakhstan region’s administration said in a statement.
Now the plant is working on entering the European and Chinese textile markets, the statement said.
The plant’s annual production capacity is more than 5 million square meters of carpets and rugs of 2,000 different designs. They employ universal qualified specialists, many of whom have been trained in production in Turkey.
The production capacity of polypropylene yarns is 4,000 tons per year. The plant employs 236 people.
