In a significant move toward advancing sustainability in the textile industry, Ambercycle, a pioneer in circular materials, has entered into a strategic partnership with global manufacturing giant Highsun Holding Group (HSCC). The partnership aims to accelerate the commercialization and adoption of textile-to-textile (T2T) recycling technologies, redefining how synthetic materials are produced and integrated into the global fashion and textile value chain.
The collaboration, announced this week, focuses on scaling closed-loop recycling systems and establishing a foundation for industry-wide standards that support high-performance, traceable, and regenerated synthetics.
“We are glad to announce our partnership with HSCC, as it represents the new era for circularity,” said Shay Sethi, Co-founder and CEO of Ambercycle. “Scaling textile-to-textile solutions requires deep partnerships, innovation, and aligned value chains. This is how we turn circularity from an ambition into a global reality.”
A New Model for Circular Manufacturing
The partnership will span multiple levels of cooperation including:
- End-of-life textile feedstock sourcing
- Joint engineering initiatives
- Recycled material production
- Promotion of quality assurance and circular material standards
With HSCC’s manufacturing scale and global reach—supported by its advanced R&D center in the Netherlands and production base in China—and Ambercycle’s expertise in material innovation, the alliance is designed to minimize textile waste, reduce carbon emissions, and replace virgin polyester and nylon with fully recycled alternatives.
“At HSCC, we are committed to leading the future of sustainable materials by integrating cutting-edge recycling technologies,” said Mei Zhen, Vice President of HSCC. “Partnering with Ambercycle accelerates the shift from virgin resources to recycled inputs, creating real impact across the value chain.”
Paving the Way for Industry-Wide Transformation
Both companies emphasized that the partnership will help the broader textile and apparel sector move from a linear to a truly circular model, underpinned by scalable systems and measurable sustainability outcomes.
By aligning on innovation and leveraging shared capabilities, Ambercycle and HSCC aim to build a global ecosystem for regenerated synthetics that are scalable, high-quality, and verified through transparent supply chains.
This strategic partnership not only strengthens the infrastructure for closed-loop textile recycling but also sends a strong signal to the global market: circularity in synthetics is no longer a future concept—it’s here and ready to scale.
