Strong international exhibitor interest has confirmed Vietnam’s growing importance in the global textile supply chain, with companies from across the industry signing up for the third edition of the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT 2026), to be held from 26–28 February 2026 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).
Vietnam’s textile sector continues to demonstrate solid performance, with exports exceeding USD 17.58 billion in the first five months of 2025, representing a 9% year-on-year increase. At the same time, the country remains a major importer of textile machinery and intermediate materials, making international partnerships a key driver of industrial development. These dynamics have contributed to strong demand for VIATT, which will expand its exhibition space by 20% in 2026 following steady growth in both exhibitor and visitor numbers last year.
The Vietnamese government is pursuing a long-term strategy to preserve textiles as a core export sector, with a focus on circular economy principles, domestic value chain development, sustainability, and global brand building. These priorities align closely with VIATT’s positioning as a platform for innovation, international sourcing, and technology transfer.
Apparel, Home and Technical Textiles Well Represented
In the apparel fabrics and fashion segment, confirmed international exhibitors include Italy’s Thomas Mason by Albini 1876 and Drago SpA, alongside Japan’s Murata Machinery, Yagi & Co, and Tamurakoma & Co. Other global participants include Alumo AG, Thomas Clifford Ltd, and IDOLE Trading, offering premium shirting, wool, and specialty fabrics.
The home and contract textiles category is also gaining momentum, supported by Vietnam’s expanding middle class and tourism sector. Exhibitors such as CoolisT Life Technology, Hangzhou Huafang Fabric, and Hangzhou Suntek Textile will present bedding solutions, decorative fabrics, and functional window textiles.

In technical textiles and technologies, companies like Sarex Chemicals, UltraTech Asia, and AiDLab will showcase innovations ranging from textile chemicals and protective coatings to AI-powered fabric inspection systems.
Sustainability Remains Central Theme
Reflecting Vietnam’s green development agenda, VIATT 2026 will again feature the Econogy Hub and Econogy Talks, dedicated to sustainable materials and circular solutions. Exhibitors such as Covation Biomaterials and Stylem Takisada-Osaka will highlight bio-based polymers and traceable supply chains.
With participation spanning apparel, home, and technical textiles, VIATT 2026 is positioning itself as a strategic gateway for both international brands seeking access to ASEAN markets and Vietnamese suppliers aiming to strengthen their global presence.
