Textile Recycling International (TRI) to Participate in Landfills2Landmarks 2025 Summit in Accra

Textile Recycling International (TRI) the UK’s largest provider of textile recycling and circular economy solutions is proud to announce it is headline sponsor in the upcoming Landfills2Landmarks 2025 Summit, taking place on May 22–23, 2025, at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, Ghana.

The summit will bring together global stakeholders from across industry, government, and civil society to address the urgent issue of textile waste and explore sustainable practices within the fashion value chain. TRI’s participation underscores its commitment to fostering international partnerships and driving forward sustainable solutions for a circular textile economy.

TRI operates through several key subsidiaries, including Cookstown Textile Recyclers, Nathan’s Wastesavers, SWD, and Wilcox , each playing a vital role in advancing textile reuse, recycling, and redistribution across the UK and beyond.

Peter Page, TRI’s Group Recycling and ESG Director, will represent TRI at the summit, contributing his expertise in Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and its role in shaping a more accountable and circular global textile system. His presentation will focus on how EPR frameworks can unlock innovation, improve waste management infrastructure, and build resilient textile economies.

Landfills2Landmarks 2025 offers a platform for global collaboration, innovation, and strategic action, a mission that aligns closely with TRI’s vision to promote sustainable textile recycling practices and support communities disproportionately affected by textile waste.
