Morocco’s major textile hubs—Tangier, Fez, and Casablanca—continue to expand their influence across the regional and global textile market. To reinforce cooperation with this fast-growing industry, the Swiss Textile Machinery Association is set to host a significant symposium in Casablanca on 4 December 2025.
The event aims to strengthen business partnerships and explore new technological pathways that will support Morocco’s position as a competitive export-oriented textile center.
Driving Sustainability and Circular Innovation
The symposium will place a strong emphasis on sustainability, textile recycling, and resource efficiency—areas that are rapidly transforming global supply chains. The program includes:
- A keynote presentation focused on circularity in textiles
- Technical talks by 11 Swiss textile machinery manufacturers, showcasing eco-efficient machinery and smart production solutions
- Panel discussions and direct interaction with experts from both countries
The day will conclude with a Cocktail Dînatoire, providing participants with valuable networking opportunities.
A Strategic Collaboration for Growth
“Morocco has developed into an important textile centre in North Africa in recent years. Combining its potential – based on its strategic location and well-established industry – with innovative Swiss machinery could accelerate the Moroccan export business. It will be interesting to exchange opinions,” said Cornelia Buchwalder, Secretary General of the Swiss Textile Machinery Association.
