The exhibition is divided into two areas according to the city: Jiangsu and Guangzhou. Jiangsu and Guangzhou. Jiangsu and Guangzhou are two cities with developed auto parts industry in China, especially Jiangsu.
As one of the traditional competitive foreign trade industries, the income of the automobile industry in Jiangsu has been in the leading level over the country for 3 years. The exports in the first half of 2019 reached 1299.06 billion yuan, up 5.7% compared with last year.
The foreign trade volume of Jiangsu with EU, ASEAN and the Middle East increased by 8.6%, 12.9% and 4.6% respectively, accounting for 17.2%, 13.1% and 4.1% of the Jiangsu’s total trade volume of goods. The value of retail sales of auto products grew by 2.3% year-on-year, attracting amounts of investment from some well-known auto parts companies like AW (Suzhou) and Kangzhong auto parts.
Guangzhou not only has a strong group of vehicle manufacturing but also gathers more than 1200 auto parts production and trade enterprises with automobile electronics, drive system, suspension, lighting, precision components, tires and glass. As early as 2007, Guangzhou was recognized as the “national automobile and parts export base” and the auto parts products are exported to Europe, America, Japan, Africa, ASEAN and other international markets.
In 2019, the value of import and export of auto parts in Guangzhou reached 37.81 billion yuan and 6.81 billion yuan of vehicles. The import and export of auto products accounted for 4.5% of the city’s total foreign trade value. The value of the export of the company who is the first one on the list of auto parts export of Guangzhou reached 1.3 billion yuan and their products are sold on more than 150 countries and regions.
Now, Guangzhou has become the country’s second-largest parallel import vehicle pilot city. According to customs statistics, there are 12,000 vehicles imported in 2019, increasing 1.5 times year-on-year, including Bentley Tylevante, Maserati Levante, Porsche 918 and other global famous cars to meet the diversified consumption needs of customers.
