The 10th edition of Morocco Fashion Style & Tex wrapped up this week in Casablanca, drawing more than 400 companies from 16 countries and showcasing the latest in fabrics, fashion, and textile innovation. Held from May 28 to 31, the exhibition welcomed over 20,000 visitors, with sustainability emerging as the central theme throughout the four-day event.
From eco-friendly yarns to recycled fabric creations, exhibitors demonstrated a clear shift toward greener and more responsible textile production. Among the standout participants was Turkish company Fill A More, which presented a full range of 100% recycled yarns.
“It is a big honour for us to be here and promote our sustainable yarns,” said Tamer Tamturk of Fill A More. “Almost every yarn content we offer has an eco-friendly version.”
Egypt’s National Council for Women also drew attention with its display of products made from reused fabrics, including clothing, bags, and notebooks—showcasing innovative design with an environmental message.
Chinese exhibitors brought a mix of fashion collections and textile innovations, with Shaoxing Zhuxiang Textile emphasizing advancements in nylon and recyclable materials amid ongoing market challenges.
European companies contributed with strong waste-reduction messages, such as Natural Fabrics from Poland, which promoted long-lasting production methods and upcycling.
“We support rethinking and reusing everything we produce,” said Amadeusz Wieteska of Natural Fabrics. “Our goal is to create ecological products that can last for years or even decades.”
With sustainability at the forefront, this year’s Morocco Fashion Style & Tex not only showcased global fashion and textile trends but also positioned itself as a leading platform for dialogue and innovation in eco-conscious manufacturing.
