LMW Textile Machinery Division has introduced the LRJ 90/SXL Ring Frame, a next-generation spinning solution designed to increase productivity, improve yarn quality, and reduce energy consumption. The company describes the machine as the world’s longest ring frame, capable of accommodating up to 2,400 spindles in a single machine.
The new ring frame combines advanced automation, compact machine design, and intelligent spinning technologies to help spinning mills improve operational efficiency while maximizing production capacity.
Designed for Higher Productivity
The LRJ 90/SXL features up to 2,400 spindles, enabling spinning mills to achieve higher production levels within a compact footprint. The machine incorporates Smart Spinning Geometry with a 65 mm spindle gauge, providing greater operational efficiency while optimizing machine layout.
The ring frame is capable of operating at technological speeds of up to 30,000 rpm, supporting high-performance yarn production across a wide range of spinning applications.
Advanced Automation Enhances Yarn Quality
To improve spinning performance, the machine is equipped with a servo-controlled ring rail with gearbox and a suction compact spinning system, designed to deliver superior yarn quality and consistent production.
Additional automation features include Accurate Doffer Positioning with BSM, helping improve machine reliability and reduce downtime during operation.

Focus on Energy Efficiency
Energy efficiency is another key feature of the LRJ 90/SXL. The machine incorporates an Axial Suction System powered by an IE4 high-efficiency motor, enabling energy savings while maintaining effective suction performance.
According to LMW, the ring frame can reduce power consumption by up to 10% while also delivering space savings of up to 8%, allowing manufacturers to increase production capacity without expanding factory floor space.
Flexible Mill Integration
The LRJ 90/SXL is designed for seamless integration with modern spinning mill automation systems, including tube loaders and automatic winders, supporting efficient material handling and continuous production.
With its combination of high spindle capacity, advanced automation, energy-efficient technologies, and flexible integration capabilities, the new ring frame is aimed at helping spinning mills improve productivity while lowering operating costs.
