Hopetech’s Innovations in Digital Printing Technology

Interview with Mr. Eric Chan – Overseas Sales Manager at Hopetech Digital Co., Ltd during ITCPE 2024

I’m very happy to be here to receive your interview on this occasion. Hopetech is one of the leading digital inkjet companies globally. We provide various inkjet solutions, including textiles, and this year we have brought new and competitive products to ITCPE.

At our booth, you will find two main products: the direct printing machine and the sublimation machine. For direct printing, we are promoting pigment machines with several options, such as 16 heads, 24 heads, 30 heads, and even 64 heads. The width can range from 1.8 to 2.6 meters and even up to 3.2 meters for home textiles.

For sublimation, we have introduced new products like the I3200 machine with 32 heads. This machine offers a very high production capacity of up to 1500 square meters per hour and supports up to 6 colors. These are our main products this year.

The Future of Digital Printing in the Textile Industry

Traditional printing is being replaced by digital printing, which is the inevitable trend of the future. The digital portion is growing every year, and many dyeing factories are transitioning to digital methods to handle smaller, more diverse orders efficiently. Digital printing offers better control over costs and produces more vibrant and colorful results compared to traditional methods.

We need to seize this global opportunity to expand our market. In the next 2-3 years, digital printing may share the market equally with traditional methods. Countries like Turkey play a crucial role due to their strategic location and influence on surrounding regions. We also see significant potential in Bangladesh and Turkey, where we have already sold several machines, mainly for sublimation. However, there is a growing demand for direct printing and pigment machines as well.

Digital printing can save a lot of wastewater, and pigments, in particular, offer a shorter production process. This makes it easier for factories to transition and manage their operations efficiently. Government regulations are increasingly encouraging environmentally friendly practices, making pigments a viable option for the future. Pigments can match the quality of reactive inks while being easier to process and requiring lower investment.

In the past, Chinese suppliers often competed with European counterparts by offering credit or low down payments. However, Hopetech focuses on winning the market through quality. We invest in R&D to continuously improve our products, ensuring we compete at the highest level. This approach has led to a healthy financial foundation, enabling us to sustain long-term growth and innovation.

Hopetech participates in several exhibitions annually, including Guangzhou Fair, ITMA in Shanghai, and overseas events in Vietnam, Turkey, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. We aim to explore new markets, build our reputation, and attract customers interested in our quality products and services. We welcome everyone to visit our booth and learn more about what we offer.
