GALAN Highlights Flexibility and Innovation at ITMA Asia + CITME Singapore 2025

During ITMA Asia + CITME Singapore 2025, Xavier Galan, CEO of Galan Textile Machinery, shared insights into the company’s long-standing strengths, market approach, and the strong visitor response experienced throughout the show. Returning to Singapore after two decades, Galan expressed enthusiasm about reconnecting with customers across Southeast Asia, Oceania and the Pacific.

Strong Engagement from Regional Markets

Reflecting on the event, Galan noted that the show exceeded expectations.

“This show is very good. We were here 20 years ago in Singapore, and now being back in this wonderful place is a great opportunity,” he said. “We have had the chance to meet customers from Southeast Asia, Oceania and the Pacific, and we are very satisfied with the visitors.”

He highlighted the high level of interest in Galan’s high-performance twisting machines for advanced applications, emphasizing that discussions throughout the exhibition were positive and business-focused.

Driving Innovation Through Industry 4.0

Galan explained that the company has invested heavily in Industry 4.0, remote access technologies, and digital integration—areas that are increasingly demanded by customers worldwide.

“We’ve been working hard on Industry 4.0 and remote access. Customers are more and more asking us to develop new solutions, and we are presenting innovations in this direction,” he said.

These advancements reflect Galan’s commitment to supporting modern textile operations with smarter, more automated, and more connected machinery.

The Competitive Strength of Spanish Machinery Manufacturers

Discussing the unique position of Spanish textile machinery producers, Galan pointed to their agility and craftsmanship.

“We are small to medium-sized companies with a long tradition and skilled personnel, so we can adapt to the market in a much easier way,” he stated. “This ability to customize machinery or equipment quickly—something larger corporations may find difficult—is one of our key competitive advantages.”

Galan emphasized that flexibility, technical expertise, and reasonable pricing remain core strengths of Spanish manufacturers.

“The key value is that we can easily and quickly adapt to customer needs, and at a reasonable price,” he added.

ITMA Asia + CITME Singapore 2025 once again highlighted the importance of innovation, responsiveness and customer-focused engineering—qualities that Galan Textile Machinery continues to deliver as it strengthens its presence in global markets.
