Turkish automation specialist ENMOS has identified Egypt as a priority growth market after beginning cooperation with NobelTex and securing its first projects in the country.
Speaking with Kohan Textile Journal during EGY Stitch & Tex 2026 in Cairo, Meral Doğan Cankurtoğlu of ENMOS discussed the company’s automation, dosing and laboratory solutions for textile dyehouses and finishing plants, as well as its strategy for developing the Egyptian market.
Meral Doğan Cankurtoğlu Discusses ENMOS Automation Solutions
Kohan Textile Journal: Could you introduce ENMOS and its product portfolio for the textile industry?
Meral Doğan Cankurtoğlu: My name is Meral Doğan Cankurtoğlu, and I work with ENMOS Industrial Automation from Türkiye.
ENMOS develops automation systems for textile dyehouses and finishing departments. We have been active in the industry since 2004 and have completed export projects in different international markets, extending from China and India to the United States.
Our product portfolio covers both electronic and mechatronic automation solutions.
On the electronic side, we provide controllers, PLC-based systems and sensors for dyeing machines and dyehouse operations. These technologies allow manufacturers to control production parameters and improve process visibility.
Our mechatronic portfolio includes chemical dosing, dyestuff dispensing and salt and soda-ash automation systems. These solutions are designed to manage the preparation, dosing and transfer of materials used in dyeing processes.
ENMOS officially provides dyeing-machine control systems, chemical and dyestuff automation, salt-soda systems, sensors, management software and laboratory pipetting technologies.
Kohan Textile Journal: What is the role of ENMOS’s laboratory pipetting technology?
Meral Doğan Cankurtoğlu: One of our latest technologies is the laboratory pipetting machine. It functions as an automated colour kitchen for textile laboratories, particularly within dyehouses.
The system prepares laboratory samples automatically and reduces dependence on manual pipetting. This can help standardise sample preparation and improve dosing precision.
By connecting laboratory preparation with bulk production, ENMOS can offer customers a wider solution covering the process from initial colour development to industrial dyeing.
The objective is to create a more controlled transition from laboratory recipes to bulk production while supporting consistency and repeatability.
Kohan Textile Journal: How do you assess Egypt’s textile market?
Meral Doğan Cankurtoğlu: Egypt is a relatively new market for ENMOS, but we have considerable international experience through our export activities in other countries.
Our strategy was to wait until we found a strong local partner capable of providing the market knowledge and customer support required for long-term development.
We entered the Egyptian market this year through cooperation with NobelTex. The partnership has already started positively, and we are working together on promising projects.
Egypt is now a priority market for ENMOS. We began developing our strategy last year, and the cooperation with NobelTex has given us a strong starting point.
Our next objective is to expand our presence, develop new projects and introduce more Egyptian textile manufacturers to ENMOS automation technologies.

Automation Connects Laboratory and Bulk Dyeing
Dyehouse automation is becoming increasingly important as textile manufacturers seek more consistent quality, accurate dosing and greater control over chemical consumption.
Manual preparation and dosing can create variations between laboratory recipes and industrial production. Connecting laboratory pipetting, chemical dispensing and machine-control systems can help mills establish a more traceable production process.
ENMOS’s portfolio addresses several stages of this workflow, from laboratory sample preparation to chemical, dyestuff, salt and soda-ash dosing in bulk production.
Its entry into Egypt through NobelTex provides the company with a local platform for identifying customer requirements, developing projects and supporting future installations.
As Egyptian manufacturers invest in modernising dyeing and finishing operations, demand for integrated automation and dosing systems could create further opportunities for ENMOS.
