The global textile and fiber industry will converge in Mumbai on 18 November 2025 for the Dornbirn Global Fiber Conference Asia, organized in collaboration with Techtextil India Symposium and Messe Frankfurt India. Themed “Shaping the Future: Sustainable Growth in Fiber Solutions and Innovations,” the event will bring together over 30 international speakers and 200+ delegates representing the world’s leading fiber manufacturers, technology providers, and sustainability experts.
The conference aims to drive critical dialogue and innovation around circular economy practices, digitalization, and sustainable fiber production — pillars that are shaping the next phase of global textile growth. Industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers will discuss the latest advancements in man-made fibers (MMF), AI integration, low-impact processing, and next-generation high-performance fibers.
India’s Fiber Industry: A Strategic Growth Engine
India’s textile and fiber sector is on a robust growth trajectory, projected to reach US$ 350 billion by 2030, with exports contributing over US$ 100 billion. Man-made fibers are set to play a pivotal role in this expansion, with production expected to double by 2030. Under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, the Government of India has earmarked ₹1,143 crore to boost MMF and technical textiles production, further strengthening India’s position as a global hub for textile innovation.
