DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR 2022 was temporarily suspended following an emergency notice issued by the Shenzhen Bao’an District Bureau of Commerce as COVID-19 cases increased in the city.
Exhibition Paused Until Conditions Improve
The exhibition, which was scheduled to open on August 31, 2022, was instructed to cease operations immediately as part of Shenzhen’s epidemic prevention and control measures. Organizers confirmed that the event will resume only after local authorities determine that the public health situation has stabilized.
New exhibition dates will be announced once approval is granted, with organizers pledging to keep exhibitors and visitors informed of further developments.
Organizers Express Regret Over Suspension
Despite extensive preparations by the organizing team, exhibitors, and industry partners over the preceding months, the event was forced to halt in compliance with government directives. Organizers expressed their sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused and thanked participants for their understanding, while expressing hope that the exhibition would return as soon as conditions allow.
