DISCOVER THE DEMODÊ FASHION, MADE WITH BRAZILIAN ORGANIC COTTON

“Change” has been the word that has permeated the ways of fashion over the past few years, especially with the new needs established by the pandemic. Keeping this in mind, Demodê, the new participant of Texbrasil (The Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) — the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – creates its pieces.

Comfort and manual work are the starting points for the creations of the brand, which takes Brazilian natural cotton to its clothes. “We are a brand that talks about behavioural change, seeking to spread a lifestyle that is in harmony with nature, by looking at traditional practices,” says the brand’s creator Maria Zeferina.

Demodê is currently working on four collections, divided into intimate and comfortable fashion. In addition, it launched a capsule collection of newborn clothing in 2021. With an atelier located in São Luís, Maranhão, the brand currently produces 700 pieces per month.

Although it has already made occasional sales abroad, participation in the Program will help the brand to grow internationally.
