The 33rd edition of the China International Disposable Paper Expo (CIDPEX 2026) successfully took place from April 13 to 17, 2026, in Nanjing, reaffirming its position as one of the most influential platforms for the global tissue paper and hygiene products industry.
Spanning more than 100,000 square meters, the exhibition brought together over 1,000 leading companies and attracted more than 50,000 professional visitors. Throughout the five-day event, attendees explored over 1,000 branded products and witnessed live demonstrations of advanced machinery, offering a dynamic and comprehensive view of the sector’s latest developments.
Five specialized zones showcase the full industry value chain
CIDPEX 2026 was structured around five major exhibition zones, each representing a key segment of the industry: tissue paper, disposable hygiene products, raw and auxiliary materials, machinery and equipment, and health and medical care.
This comprehensive layout enabled visitors to gain a complete understanding of the upstream and downstream supply chain, while also highlighting the increasing integration of technology, materials, and end-product innovation.
The Tissue Paper Pavilion hosted more than 130 leading companies, attracting distributors and buyers actively seeking new partnerships and procurement opportunities. Meanwhile, the Disposable Hygiene Products Pavilion featured over 150 exhibitors, presenting innovations across feminine care, baby care, adult incontinence, and wipes—segments that continue to see strong global demand.
Materials and machinery drive innovation and efficiency
One of the most dynamic sections of the exhibition was the Raw and Auxiliary Materials Pavilion, which gathered over 350 exhibitors. New materials and processing solutions showcased here reflected the industry’s ongoing focus on improving product performance and production efficiency.
At the same time, the Machinery and Equipment Pavilion brought together around 400 exhibitors, demonstrating advanced digital and smart manufacturing solutions. Live machine operations provided visitors with practical insights into upgrading production lines and optimizing efficiency—an increasingly critical factor in today’s competitive manufacturing landscape.
Expanding into health, medical, and the silver economy
A notable highlight of CIDPEX 2026 was the dedicated Health & Medical Care Pavilion, which addressed the growing demand linked to aging populations and evolving healthcare needs. Featuring 32 specialized exhibitors, the pavilion presented a range of solutions, from smart elderly care products to rehabilitation technologies and medical consumables.
This focus on the “silver economy” reflects a broader shift within the industry, where hygiene and healthcare products are becoming key drivers of innovation and investment.
Globalization and cross-border collaboration take center stage
To support international expansion, the exhibition introduced a dedicated overseas service ecosystem zone in Hall G1. This initiative brought together a wide range of service providers, including cross-border e-commerce platforms, overseas logistics and warehousing companies, financial service providers, and certification bodies.
Complementing this effort, the upgraded Global Buyer Negotiation Area created a more efficient platform for connecting Chinese manufacturers with international buyers. This dual approach not only facilitates global market access for Chinese companies but also provides international stakeholders with direct entry into one of the world’s most dynamic markets.
