Nine Bangladeshi companies join Texworld Paris Fair

Nine Bangladeshi local textile, garment and leather companies are getting overwhelming responses to their products at the international textile sourcing event that began in Paris from February 7 after two years of the pandemic-induced halt. According to press statement, Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) set up the Bangladesh pavilion at the three-day showcase titled ‘The Texworld/Apparel Sourcing/Leatherworld Paris 2022’.

Bangladeshi companies are Momtex Expo, Pioneer Denim Limited, BS Fashion, Deshbandhu Textile Mills, Fifth Alliance, Gimex Clothing, Sara Fashionwear, The Rose Garments Designs, and Nobabee Footwear.

This is one of the biggest fashion-sourcing fairs in Europe. Hopefully, there would be greater participation from Bangladesh in the upcoming July edition of the exhibition,” said, Dilara Begum, Commercial Counsellor of Bangladesh in Paris Moore than 200 exhibitors are displaying a global range of fashion products from the major manufacturing countries, including Bangladesh, China, Korea, India, Taiwan, Turkey and Pakistan. Visitors and buyers from the UK, USA, France, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Germany are visiting the fair in large numbers.

The next Texworld/Apparel Sourcing/Leather World Paris will also be held from July 4 to 6 this year and Texworld/Apparel Sourcing USA from July 19 to 21 in the same year.
