This season is the debut partnership with Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan, with the showcase taking place at the recently renovated, state-of-the-art fl agship dealership in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. NYMD will occupy the ground level of the facility, inaugurating four new brands and four returning designers.

“We look forward to kicking off New York Fashion Week with NYMD at our newly renovated Manhattan fl agship. With over 300,000 square feet of space reimagined to provide immersive and exceptional customer service experiences, we are providing NYMD a space that best showcases the emerging designers’ collections and highlights our fi rst bespoke Maybach and AMG Lounges in the United States,” remarked Chief Financial Offi cer & Interim General Manager, Manuel Terrones, Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan.

Conceived to nurture emerging talent and consolidate top menswear/genderless designers in an easy-to-view venue, NYMD will feature eight designers/collections collectively. Each participating designer will present their latest collections in their own designated sections within the Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan space to refl ect the label’s identity and inspiration. Taking place simultaneously over two-hour periods, four brands will present in the morning session and four in the late afternoon. The format of showcasing all presentations at the same time creates ease-of-fl ow for media, buyers, infl uencers and VIPs, allowing them to move through collections and spend time with designers as their time allows.
