Keqiao Textile Expo Spring 2025 Concludes with Strong Business Results and Global Innovation Highlights

The 2025 Keqiao Textile Expo (Spring) concluded successfully on May 8, following three days of vibrant activity that brought together over 700 exhibitors and thousands of domestic and international buyers. With the theme “International, Fashionable, Green, and High-end”, the exhibition once again reinforced Keqiao’s role as a global hub for the textile industry.

A Thriving Business Atmosphere

Exhibitors showcased a wide range of products, from classic knitted and woven fabrics to high-tech functional textiles with temperature control and antibacterial properties, alongside eco-friendly fabrics such as organic cotton and recycled polyester. Fashion collections spanned from outdoor sportswear to women’s apparel, drawing significant interest.

Exhibitors reported brisk business, with orders exceeding expectations. Buyers from China’s key textile clusters, as well as delegations from more than 20 overseas markets, engaged in precise matchmaking sessions. International visitors highlighted Keqiao’s strengths:

• Dlybe, a buyer from India, praised the variety of elastic and flannelette fabrics, noting plans for factory visits to secure cooperation.
• Murat, from Kyrgyzstan, focused on children’s and printed fabrics, describing Keqiao materials as “synonymous with quality and cost-effectiveness.”
• Corporate buyers like ESS TEE GROUP and Ningbo Kaiyue emphasized the benefits of direct purchasing and supply chain integration offered at the expo.

Full-Chain Collaboration and Innovation

This year’s edition adopted a “1+N” matrix model, extending across the entire textile value chain—from raw material supply to fashion design and equipment manufacturing. The structure facilitated vertical specialization and horizontal collaboration, enhancing cross-sector integration.

Highlights included:

• “Weaving Awareness Awakening” Fashion Design Exhibition – blending AI, intelligent technology, and fashion creativity across trend zones and tech showcases.
• “Fabric to Garment” Shows – nine runway presentations where leading brands such as Bangsheng Textile, Shanghai Zhicheng Fashion, and Shunjia Textile combined fabrics with finished garments in a new three-dimensional display format.

Concurrent Exhibitions Expand Impact

The Keqiao Expo was held alongside other key events, including the Shaoxing International Garment Supply Chain Expo, the Keqiao International Textile Printing Industry Exhibition (Spring), and the China Zhejiang Textile Dyeing Industry Technology and Equipment Exhibition. These joint exhibitions created a comprehensive industrial ecosystem, integrating design, production, and procurement, while fostering deeper exchanges across the textile value chain.
