Brückner Textile Highlights Sustainability and Innovation at ITMA Asia + CITME 2024

Brückner Textile, a leader in textile machinery, showcased its latest advancements in sustainability and energy efficiency at the ITMA Asia + CITME 2024 exhibition. During an informative interview, Alex Mandel, Sales Manager and General Manager of Bruckner’s Shanghai subsidiary, discussed the company’s commitment to supporting the evolving textile market in China.

Technical Textiles Gain Momentum Despite Market Shifts

Mandel remarked, “We are proud to present our cutting-edge technologies that focus on sustainability and energy reduction. The current global economic situation has significantly impacted the Chinese market, prompting many companies to relocate their manufacturing operations to countries like Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam. This presents challenges for us and our customers.”

Despite these challenges, Mandel noted a growing demand for technical textiles in China. “Our machinery is designed for both classical and technical textiles, with the latter gaining strength in the market. While the apparel sector faces difficulties, we are well-positioned to support the technical textiles segment,” he explained.

Brückner’s commitment to sustainability goes beyond product offerings. Mandel stated, “Our strategy includes coaching and training our customers to maximize the performance of their equipment. We have a dedicated team of process engineers who provide consulting and training to optimize machine output and efficiency.”

Additionally, Bruckner has developed a process optimization tool called “Expertise,” which leverages artificial intelligence to enhance production processes and reduce energy costs. “This tool helps our customers fully realize the potential of their machines while minimizing operational expenses,” Mandel added.

As Brückner Textile continues to innovate, the company remains dedicated to helping its customers achieve sustainable and efficient production in a challenging market.
