Biancalani Textile Machinery Showcases Innovative Fabric Treatment Solutions at ITMA Asia + CITME 2024

Biancalani Textile Machinery, a global leader in textile machinery based in Prato, Italy, continues to drive the future of textile processing with its advanced machines for fabric treatment and finishing. During this year’s ITMA Asia + CITME, Mr. Rossano Biancalani, President of Biancalani, shared insights into the company’s latest innovations, highlighting its commitment to providing high-quality, sustainable solutions that cater to the evolving needs of the textile industry.

“We specialize in creating machines that deliver unique textures and finishes to fabrics,” said Mr. Biancalani. “Our technology has expanded to cover a variety of treatments, including fabric preparation processes before dyeing or bleaching. Here at ITMA Asia, we’re excited to showcase smaller models of our machines, such as the “AIRO24” and “Aquaria”, which provide a glimpse into our full-scale capabilities.”

The “AIRO24” is a continuous softening and drying machine designed to handle virtually any fabric type, from lightweight fabrics to heavy synthetics. “It’s a versatile machine that has gained popularity across markets for its adaptability to diverse materials,” Mr. Biancalani explained.

Biancalani is also presenting its “Aquaria” machine, a unique, continuous washing system that integrates both air and liquid treatments. Unlike conventional washing machines that transport fabric in a linear path, Aquaria employs a back-and-forth motion, allowing for in-depth, multi-stage treatment. “Aquaria can handle a range of treatments in a non-traditional way,” Mr. Biancalani added. “It’s equipped to work with enzymes, chemicals, or soaps, depending on the specific needs of the fabric.”

Biancalani’s machines are highly regarded for their export potential, with 95% of the company’s revenue coming from international markets. This year, while the Chinese market has shown signs of slowing, Mr. Biancalani noted significant growth in markets like India and Indonesia. “We’re also seeing an increase in demand within Italy, which is very promising,” he stated.

Through continuous innovation and a deep understanding of textile dynamics, Biancalani remains at the forefront of textile machinery solutions, supporting sustainable practices and pushing the boundaries of fabric treatment.
