Stitch & Tex: New Textile Exhibition Brand for Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Morocco

Business Plus Fairs, a UAE-based exhibition organizer specializing in the textile industry, has partnered with Vision Fairs to launch a new brand, Stitch & Tex. This initiative was unveiled at a prominent hotel in Cairo, gathering key industry professionals from sectors such as yarn and textile manufacturing, ready-made clothing, and home furnishings.

Ambitious Growth Plans

Stitch & Tex represents a significant expansion for both Business Plus Fairs and Vision Fairs. The brand aims to diversify their services and achieve ambitious growth targets in the region. “We are preparing to organize nine specialized exhibitions in yarn and textile manufacturing, clothing, machinery, and home textiles across three countries in the first phase,” announced Haytham Rady, Exhibition Manager.

Regional Industry Platform

Stitch & Tex aspires to become the leading platform for the yarn, textile, and ready-made clothing industries in the region. A spokesperson from Business Plus Fairs emphasized, “This new brand reflects our commitment to meeting market demands dynamically and optimizing exhibition management to foster industry growth.”

History and Expansion

The Stitch & Tex EXPO has been a cornerstone event in Cairo since 2007, showcasing advancements in yarn and textile technology, machinery, and printing. With the launch of the new brand, the event is poised for significant growth, expanding both horizontally into new regional markets and vertically across all industry stages.

Commitment to Regional Growth

“The expansion of Stitch & Tex into Saudi Arabia, Morocco, and Egypt underscores our dedication to enhancing regional industry capabilities,” remarked Wael Omar, Chairman of Vision Fairs. Under the Stitch & Tex umbrella, a series of exhibitions will focus on machinery, manufacturing supplies, and final products such as clothing, fabrics, curtains, and home furnishings.

Future Exhibitions

The first phase of exhibitions will take place from 2024 to 2025, with plans to attract over 2,500 exhibitors from 16 countries and 160,000 visitors. This ambitious rollout aims to solidify Stitch & Tex’s position as a premier event for the textile industry in the region.
