HUGO BOSS Launches NovaPoly: A Breakthrough Yarn Made from Recycled Textile Waste

HUGO BOSS has announced the launch of NovaPoly, a cutting-edge recycled polyester yarn developed in collaboration with Jiaren Chemical Recycling and NBC LLC. The innovative yarn, created from both pre- and post-consumer textile waste, will debut in BOSS Green products globally in October 2025.

NovaPoly is enhanced with a natural additive that enables degradability, aligning with HUGO BOSS’s broader sustainability strategy and its fight against microplastic pollution. The yarn marks a major step under the company’s BOSS THE CHANGE initiative, which emphasizes circularity and responsible innovation in fashion.

Initially exclusive to the HUGO and BOSS brands, HUGO BOSS holds the trademark and exclusive rights to NovaPoly for the first year. However, the company plans to open licensing opportunities to the broader fashion industry, aiming to make the technology accessible to more partners and amplify its environmental impact.

As part of the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, NovaPoly will be integrated into select BOSS Green performance wear. Products featuring the new yarn will be available online, at BOSS retail stores, and through select global wholesale partners.

This launch builds on HUGO BOSS’s previous fiber innovation efforts, including its partnership with HeiQ AeoniQ, and reinforces the brand’s commitment to pioneering sustainable textile alternatives in the global fashion sector.
