Yarn Expo Autumn 2027 Brings Global Yarn and Fibre Innovation to Shanghai

Yarn Expo Autumn 2027 will take place from 1–3 September 2027 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), bringing global yarn and fibre manufacturers together with textile producers, apparel companies, buyers, designers and sourcing professionals.

As one of Asia’s major sourcing platforms dedicated to fibres and yarns, the fair provides international buyers with direct access to Chinese suppliers while giving overseas manufacturers an important route into the regional textile market.

Nearly 600 Suppliers Set the Benchmark

The previous edition in 2026 demonstrated the scale and international reach of Yarn Expo Autumn.

Nearly 600 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions participated across approximately 27,000 square metres of exhibition space, while the fair welcomed nearly 22,000 visitors from 110 countries and regions.

The results reinforced Shanghai’s role as an important meeting point for global fibre and yarn sourcing, bringing upstream material suppliers into direct contact with manufacturers and buyers serving apparel, knitting, home textiles and other textile applications.

Yarn Expo Autumn offers a broad sourcing range covering natural, man-made and specialty materials.

The official product groups include natural fibres such as cotton, wool, silk, flax and ramie, alongside regenerated and synthetic man-made fibres and specialty fibre solutions.
