The global cotton industry is preparing for one of its most significant meetings of the year as the Better Cotton Conference 2025 is set to take place on June 18–19 in İzmir, Turkey. Hosted by the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) at the Swissôtel İzmir, the event will bring together stakeholders from across the cotton value chain — including BCI officials, textile manufacturers, international fashion brands, agricultural experts, and farmers.
Key topics to be addressed include sustainability, digitalization, regenerative agriculture, biodiversity preservation, traceability, and the resilience of cotton farming against climate change. The conference will be held both physically and online to ensure broad participation. On-site visits in Söke will offer attendees a firsthand view of sustainable cotton practices in Turkey.
The event aims to shape a more just and sustainable future for the cotton industry through collaboration, policy dialogue, and the exchange of innovative strategies. Turkish citizens are offered a 50% discount on registration. For more information and registration, visit www.bettercottonconference.org.
