Behnam Ghasemi
I am Behnam Ghasemi, a textile engineer and Editor-in-Chief of Kohan Textile Journal, with nearly two decades of experience in textile industry journalism and media.
I began my editorial career in 2007, and since then, textiles have become much more than a profession for me. I have had the opportunity to visit more than 100 textile exhibitions around the world, where I have met and interviewed manufacturers, technology providers, industry leaders, designers, and textile professionals from different countries.
What keeps me passionate about this industry is that there is always something new to discover. New technologies, new materials, new production methods, emerging markets, and above all, the people behind these developments continue to make the textile industry fascinating to me.
Through my articles, interviews, and international exhibition coverage, I try to share not only industry news, but also first-hand experiences and insights from the global textile market, with a particular focus on the Middle East, Africa, Türkiye, and emerging textile markets.
After almost two decades in this industry, I am still curious, still learning, and still excited every time I enter a textile factory or walk through a new exhibition.
For me, textiles are not only a profession; they are a world that always offers something new to discover.
