The China Textile City, Asia’s largest textile distribution centre in Shaoxing in the Zhejiang Province, reopened on February 18, eighteen days after its traditionally scheduled date of opening. The centre holds more than 30,000 merchants, witnesses 100,000 customer visits daily, and boasts a sales network covering 192 countries and regions.

It opened to its customers online on February 10, according to a news agency report. Merchants can now connect with their clients all over the world 24 hours a day, seven days a week on the online platform.

On the same day, the Yiwu International Trade Market, the world’s leading small commodities market, also reopened to customers.

According to the economy and information technology department of Zhejiang, as of February 16, 24,888 industrial enterprises above designated size have resumed work, with a resumption rate of 56.2 per cent.
