Summit International Flooring Expands to New Markets

Summit International Flooring (SIF) recently opened its first showroom at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago at NeoCon 2017. The Merchandise Mart is the world’s largest commercial building and design center, home to many architectural and interior design vendors and the host of NeoCon for the past 48 years.

SIF also announced the addition of three new team members. Shelley Eisenberg has been added to the team to service the new showroom and Chicago designers. Alan Smith has joined SIF as the regional market manager for New York, assisting designers in the architectural and design field in the N.Y. market.

Amara Brenner, who previously represented New York, has moved to Los Angeles and is representing SIF in the Southern California area. Patricia “Trish” Francis was added to the team as regional market manager for Northern California, San Francisco Bay area. Francis comes to Summit International Flooring with more than 20 years’ experience in the interior design industry.

Finally, SIF also recently announced its partnership with Spek Creative. Headed by Scott Coulter and James Katz, the duo has a combined 20 years’ experience and is well known to the design industry in the D.C., Northern Virginia, and Maryland area.

“We love that Summit International Flooring is growing,” said David Numark, president of SIF. “New blood brings excitement and new ideas. We are thrilled to be working with a great group of people who will help us to better serve the design community.”
