Laip is a modern Italian company based in Prato that has been manufacturing dyeing machines for over 60 years. The very wide product range includes machines for dyeing both fabrics and fibers, yarns, tops and tow.
Mr Ramy Kassem, area manager of LAIP in an interview with Kohan Textile Journal during ITM 2022 said: ” One of the most important points about ITM is that located in the centre of textile production and consumption and it has great access to Asia, Africa, Europe, CIS and Middle East region. Also, the infrastructure and attractions of Istanbul help to gather all textile professionals under one roof during the exhibition. we met many customers from different parts of the world, especially from EMEA Region.”
Mr Ramy Kassem explain the latest technologies and machinery that Laip presented in the show and added: ” LAIP for more than 60 years has been working on different solutions for dying machines. today we are facing a lot of challenges, like increasing textile production costs and this is one of our missions to solve and decrease the cost of production for textile manufacturers. we try to decrease energy consumption by using new technologies, but at the same time, we have to create a balance between cost of production, energy consumption and quality of dying. it means we should increase productivity with high-quality dyeing process, and thanks to new technologies and our research and development centre we are successful in the market ”
Our staff, made up of specialized personnel, deals with mechanical and electrical design, structural simulation, calculations and certification for pressure equipment and software development of the machines. We manufacture a wide range of machines that can be divided into two macro-categories: fabric dyeing and yarn, fiber and tow dyeing. We deal with the design and construction of both single machines and complete systems.
For each category, we have a wide choice of products suitable to treat different types of fabric and fiber according to specific requests or needs from our customers. We also make versions of the same machines for small productions or laboratories.
