The yarn industry is one of the important sub-sectors of the textile industry thanks to its investment capacity and export potential. The number of short fiber spindles increased by approximately 2,1 million units in 2022, reaching 9.76 million. 1,28 million units of open-end rotors were shipped.
Global shipments of long fiber (wool) spindles increased by 195% to approximately 93,000 in 2022. In addition, spinning machines ranked first among Turkey’s most exported textile machinery with 48.4 million dollars in 2022. ITM 2024 Exhibition will host the entire product portfolio from spinning technologies to yarn preparation machines, yarn transfer, twisting and texturing machines, BCF carpet yarn, cotton yarn and synthetic yarn technologies.
