Denim Première Vision 2026

November 25 - November 26
General-Denim Premiere-Vision-2026

Denim Première Vision will return to Milan on November 25–26, 2026, bringing together the global denim community for two days of innovation, inspiration, sustainability, and business development. Hosted at Superstudio Più, the event will once again serve as one of the industry’s leading platforms for denim manufacturers, fashion brands, designers, sourcing professionals, and technology providers seeking to explore the future of the denim sector.

The upcoming edition will introduce the Autumn-Winter 2027–2028 season through a comprehensive presentation of emerging trends, innovative materials, and new approaches to product development. According to Première Vision, the season is characterized by a renewed focus on substance rather than surface, where innovation works alongside nature rather than against it. Denim is becoming more expressive, adaptive, and authentic, reflecting growing demand for individuality, regenerative practices, and visible craftsmanship throughout the fashion industry.

As global brands continue to seek sustainable and innovative solutions, Denim Première Vision 2026 aims to provide a unique environment where creativity, technology, and responsible production converge to shape the next generation of denim.

AW 27–28 Trends Highlight a Living Future for Denim

A central feature of the exhibition will be the presentation of the Autumn-Winter 2027–2028 season trends. During both days of the event, Première Vision Fashion Team member Julieta Mercerat will deliver the trend seminar titled “A Living Future for Denim.”

The seminar will explore the key narratives influencing future denim developments and showcase innovations introduced by exhibitors participating in the exhibition. The season emphasizes materials that evolve naturally, adaptive manufacturing approaches, regenerative thinking, and imperfect yet expressive aesthetics that challenge conventional ideas of denim design.

Industry professionals attending the seminar will gain valuable insights into future consumer expectations and the creative directions likely to influence product development in the years ahead. Through trend forecasting and practical examples, the presentation aims to help brands, manufacturers, and designers better understand the market opportunities emerging within the evolving denim landscape.

Fashion Forum Showcases Innovation Across the Denim Supply Chain

The Fashion Forum will once again play a central role at Denim Première Vision 2026. Designed as a practical and inspirational tool, the forum highlights the expertise, innovation, and technical capabilities of participating exhibitors.

Structured as an index of creativity and know-how, the Fashion Forum allows visitors to quickly identify key industry players and discover new developments in fabrics, materials, finishes, and production processes. The initiative provides a comprehensive overview of current creative dynamics while helping brands and buyers connect with suppliers capable of supporting future collections.

One of the highlights of the forum will be “Underrated Chapter 2,” a collaborative denim wardrobe project developed by the Première Vision Fashion Team, Italian designer Kristian Guerra, and participating exhibitors. The project explores hybrid silhouettes and advanced fabric developments that are expected to influence the Autumn-Winter 2027–2028 season.

The collaboration demonstrates how creative partnerships between designers and manufacturers continue to drive innovation throughout the denim industry.

Sustainability and Circularity Continue to Shape Industry Development

Sustainability remains a major priority for Denim Première Vision and its international partners. The exhibition will showcase several initiatives focused on circular production, responsible sourcing, and environmentally conscious innovation.

One of the featured projects is the collaboration between Denim Première Vision and the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI), a Dutch government agency. Through the “Circular Apparel Tunisia” initiative, the program supports 18 Tunisian companies in their transition toward circular manufacturing models and more sustainable business practices.

The exhibition will also present new developments within the “Redefining Blue” project, created in partnership with Chloris. During the event, Chloris and Denim Première Vision will unveil the latest advancements in Claessen Blue, a bio-based dye technology designed to reduce environmental impact while supporting sustainable textile production.

These initiatives reflect the industry’s increasing commitment to reducing resource consumption, encouraging circularity, and developing innovative alternatives to traditional manufacturing processes.

Industry Leaders Explore the Future of Fashion and Open-Source Collaboration

The educational program will feature a range of exclusive talks and discussions led by prominent figures from the fashion and textile industries.

One of the most anticipated sessions will feature designers Lisi Herrebrugh and Rushemy Botter discussing the future direction of their fashion label Botter. Under the theme “Botter’s Reboot is Open Source,” the session will explore new models of collaboration between brands, suppliers, and consumers.

The discussion will address how open-source co-creation, continuous dialogue with younger generations, and closer cooperation across the supply chain are redefining traditional approaches to fashion development. The session reflects a broader industry movement toward transparency, inclusivity, and collaborative innovation.

Visitors will also gain access to a comprehensive program of presentations and educational activities designed to provide practical insights into emerging industry trends, technological developments, and future business opportunities.

Supporting Emerging Talent and Creative Development

Denim Première Vision continues to strengthen its commitment to supporting the next generation of fashion professionals. Through its partnership with Istituto Marangoni Milano, the exhibition provides opportunities for students and young designers to present their work and engage directly with industry professionals.

Student designer Lolie Bernard will present her project “What if this was enough?” as part of a discussion focused on authenticity, emotional honesty, and contemporary design values. These initiatives demonstrate the event’s commitment to encouraging new perspectives and fostering creative development within the fashion industry.

The exhibition also celebrates the legacy of influential denim innovator Adriano Goldschmied. A dedicated showcase will feature three collections developed by Pioneer Denim and Soko based on Goldschmied’s vision for sustainable denim production. The collections combine advanced textile innovation with environmentally responsible chemistry, highlighting the ongoing pursuit of sustainable excellence within the denim sector.

As the global denim industry continues evolving, Denim Première Vision 2026 is expected to provide a valuable platform for innovation, networking, education, and collaboration. Through its combination of trend forecasting, sustainable initiatives, creative showcases, and industry dialogue, the event remains a key destination for professionals shaping the future of denim and fashion.
