Coronavirus scare forces ITM 2020 to take place in July

The worldwide outbreak of coronavirus has resulted in issuance of statements-injunctions by World Health Organization (WHO) and Turkey ministry of health, due to which ITM 2020 International Textile Machinery exhibition has been postponed from June 2-6 to July 14-18. The fair will open its doors in Istanbul Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center.

For the last 1 week, the ITM Project Group has been teleconferencing with its participants as the participating countries to the exhibition like Italy, Germany, Switzerland, China, have asked for postponement of the exhibition.

“Our primary responsibility is to protect the health, rights and investments of our valued participants, visitors and collaborators and to ensure their safety. In this regard, we believe that all of our exhibitors will find this compulsory postpone decision of ITM 2020 understandable,” said ITM Project Group in a press release.

The ITM fair will be organised in partnership with Tüyap Tüm Fuarcilik AS and Teknik Fuarcilik AS
