Tehran, Feb 3, IRNA – The Iranian cultural exhibition called ‘Iran, Bejeweled Land’, opened at the Art Gallery in Belarus, Minsk on the occasion of 42nd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory.
At the opening ceremony of the exhibition , Iranian Ambassador to Minsk (Capital of Belarus), Head of the International Affairs Committee for the Representatives, the president of the Faculty of Culture in Belarus and President of the Union of Artists in Minsk delivered speeches.
In his speech, Iran’s Ambassador to Belarus Saeed Yari while referring to Iran’s 7000 years of history and civilization, said the exhibition carrying a message is important , and that we wish for peace to all the world , including Belarus.
Referring to more than four decades of Islamic revolution in Iran, he called the Iranian nation a real winner of resistance against sanctions and resistance to foreign pressure and enemies of Iran to the unequal battle.
The exhibition, which is held at the Art Gallery in Belarus until February 18, 2021, exhibits valuable works of Iranian crafts such as Vitreous enamel, Khatam, Wood carving, Iranian carpet such as handwoven carpet, Persian poetry, and calligraphy works from Iran are exhibited.
Iran exports 12m euros worth of fibers in eight months
Khomein, Jan 20, IRNA – An official with the Ministry of Industries, Mines and Trade said on Wednesday that Iran exported some 15 million euros worth of fibers in the first eight months of the current Iranian year.
Touring a fiber industrial unit in Delijan, Markazi province, Director General of Textile and Clothing Department at the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade Afsaneh Mehrabi added that some 240,000 tons of fibers are exported from the country annually.
“Delijan is the main center of fiber production in the country, which as one of the main materials used in the textile industry,” she said.
Fibers are the raw material used in the textile industry, which are characterized by flexibility, elegance and having a large ratio of length to diameter.
Iran’s textile export rises up by 30%
Tehran, Nov 24, IRNA – The vice-chairman of Iran’s Textile Exporters and Manufacturers Associations said on Tuesday that statistics show a 30-percent increase in export of textile products in the first five months of the current Iranian year (starting on March 20) compared to the same period last year.
Majid Nami told IRNA that the growth will definitely go on to the end of the year (20 March, 2021).
Nami said that export of textiles has grown up while money transactions have been impeded and a part of export is not registered anywhere.
He said that some traders from Afghanistan, Iraq, and Central Asia come to Iran and buy clothes with Iranian currency rial and then take them to their countries.
Nami added that in the first five months $35 million dollars’ worth of clothes have been exported, and considering the fact that the export has been 50 to 60 million dollars each year, it is predicted that there will be a 30% growth by the end of the current Iranian year.
