STRATEGIC TRANSFORMATION UNDERWAY AT Loepfe Brothers

Loepfe Brothers Ltd. announced today its intention to restructure and refocus its business over the next three months in order to align with the changed market conditions and to further leverage digital technologies. Plans to release the next in a series of new solutions in Quarter 4/2020 remain unchanged.

Strengthening Leadership and Structure to Support Strategic Growth

As part of the organizational restructuring, Loepfe is placing a greater focus on customer-centricity. Silvano Auciello will now lead a newly combined sales and customer support organization, ensuring customer needs remain at the core of all activities. To further reinforce product excellence, Guido Wieland has been appointed to head a unified team responsible for product management, applications, and marketing—enhancing alignment across all stages of product development.

In addition, Sylvie Hunziker has been tasked with driving and shaping the company’s digital landscape, alongside her continued leadership of the production department. Her expanded role reflects Loepfe’s strong commitment to digital transformation across all business processes.

As previously announced, the R&D division has already gained renewed momentum with the joint leadership of Thomas Schlegel and Roger Hilzinger. Their extensive technical expertise is expected to fast-track the development of next-generation technologies and ensure a steady pipeline of advanced, market-ready solutions.

Further internal enhancements are also underway to strengthen Loepfe’s renowned Swiss quality standards across its entire product range—solidifying the company’s position as a global leader in textile technology.

Loepfe CEO Dr Ralph Mennicke commented:“We live in a world where change is a standard feature of our lives. It is important that we embrace and actively drive these changes by continually questioning things and redefining our offering to harness the benefits of the fast-moving environment for our customers and our business.

My thanks go to each of the aforementioned for taking up the new challenges along with our teams, and I look forward to our exciting journey together.”

Loepfe Executive Chairman Alexander Zschokke added:“With this announcement today, the Loepfe and Savio Groups are investing not only in our business but also in our people. The work they are now undertaking will future-proof the company and ensure it remains the leading specialist in its field for many years to come.”
