Munich Apparel Source to Take Place in Sept 2018

Munich Apparel Source as an integrated event of the Munich Fabric Start and directly connected to the MOC to take place from 5-7 in September 2018. Wolfgang Klinder, Managing Director Munich Fabric Start said that they will use the next few months to develop an integrated and therefore sustainable concept. As a trade fair organizer and initiator, they have a very clear mission with a concrete remit that they will fulfil with great commitment and responsibility.

The strategic and future-oriented new concept of dovetailing the two trade events in terms of both location and content is the result of an intense survey of the current market requirements, as well as exhibitor and visitor expectations, organizers report.

According to organizers, the trade fair location of Munich offers optimum prerequisites for giving visitors comprehensive insight into the entire textiles production chain and therefore also real synergy effects.

This means Munich Farbic Start is also continuing the strategy of extending its portfolio to include the next stage in the value-added chain – thereby offering a comprehensive service and product range for the fashion industry at one location.

Measures promoting a sharper profile include the testing and presence of relevant supply countries and their companies in terms of compliance with European product standards. Beyond this the analysis of production processes and solutions in line with the latest market requirements. Just like earlier this year specialist lectures will present the performance of specific countries and regions in detail. This includes production capacities, production focuses, delivery times, conditions and cost structures, as well as import and export conditions that can play a decisive role for global fashion players.

The aim with Munich Apparel Source is to offer a reliable international network platform and comprehensive and practical know-how on all key sourcing markets. For this reason, comprehensive profiles of the exhibiting firms will provide information on their range of products and services as well as the available certifications.

At Munich Fabric Start with integrated Munich Apparel Source visitors can gather information on all the latest developments and trends in order to gear the development and manufacture of their products up to the future.

According to Sebastian Klinder, Managing Director Munich Fabric Start, at Munich Fabric Start they remain convinced that due to the ever-stronger dovetailing of the markets, the increasing impact of digitalisation and the provocative change in consumer purchasing behaviour the complex presentation of reliable sourcing management is more important than ever. For this reason, they are offering a professional, reliable and high-quality forum with two complementary trade fairs.
