Italy will have their first digital Fashion Week in July which will take place in Milan as the fashion sector struggles to get back up from the coronavirus pandemic.
Italy’s National Chamber stated that this is a concrete response to the need for promotion and business on the part of brands. From July 14-17, `Milano Digital Fashion Week’ will allow the spring/summer 2021 men’s collections and spring/summer 2021 men’s and women’s pre-collections and together with a platform designed to give access to the showrooms to showcase their presentation.
The digital aspect of the fashion week will include photo and video content, backstage interviews, webinars and live streaming of keynote speeches and all of this will be visible on www.cameramoda, IT, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Weibo. Italy’s fashion chamber announced that their men’s show that was scheduled for June had to be pushed back until September as well as the women’s shows.
