20 years rooted in Vietnam, Fuyang Printing sets industry benchmark with quality and integrity

In a northern Vietnam industrial park, over a dozen high-speed printing machines hum as workers orderly operate equipment in a spotless workshop—this is daily production at Vietnam Fuyang Printing Co., Ltd. (“Fuyang Printing”).

A leading figure in Vietnam’s garment printing for nearly 20 years, Fuyang Printing partners with global brands like ADIDAS, NIKE, PUMA and local YODY. Guided by “quality first, integrity-based”, it’s a northern Vietnam benchmark combining scale and strength.

The Textile Printing team recently interviewed GM Li to uncover its success secrets.

“Our factory must pass the strict factory audit by brand owners – it’s the foundation of cooperation,” said Mr. Li, General Manager of Fuyang Printing, during an exchange with the Textile Printing team. Since its establishment, the company has integrated “striving for perfection” into the entire production process: rigorous standards are implemented in every link, from equipment and raw material procurement to sample making, plate making, and finished product delivery.

To maintain technological leadership, the company has invested in introducing internationally advanced printing equipment. Currently, its monthly production capacity reaches 7 million pieces, with a product qualification rate stably above 99%.

In terms of integrity management, Fuyang Printing has earned long-term customer trust by deeply aligning with client needs and providing customized solutions. Mr. Li revealed that despite this year’s tariff policy adjustments impacting the industry, the company’s order volume has maintained steady growth, with single orders from some international brands reaching 400,000 to 500,000 pieces.

“Quality is the key to opening doors, and integrity is the pass,” he emphasized. “At Fuyang, customer needs always come first.”

Technical Upgrades + Capacity Expansion: Preparing for Industry Changes Ahead of Time

Amid fast-changing garment manufacturing and tough Southeast Asian competition, Fuyang Printing stays ahead. Mr. Li shared the company kickstarted tech upgrades pre-competition surge, automating processes for higher efficiency and quality. Years ago, it doubled production workshops to ride the Southeast Asian market wave, boosting capacity and slashing international brands’ supply chain response times.

“Disorderly industry competition is both a challenge and an opportunity,” said Mr. Li. Fuyang Printing has strengthened its industry position by continuously investing in R&D and supply chain resilience, delivering more competitive solutions to clients. “We always believe staying ahead of the industry is the only way to avoid being phased out.”

People-Oriented Management: Building Team Cohesion

Against rising labor costs and skilled worker shortages in Vietnam, Fuyang Printing builds a unique talent management system under the philosophy that “employees are a company’s most valuable asset.” Beyond competitive pay and benefits, it offers regular skills training, career planning, and “family culture” initiatives like staff mutual aid funds and festival team-building.

“Most of our employees are Vietnamese, with a high proportion of long-serving staff,” said Mr. Li. “A stable team is the foundation of sustainable growth. We respect every employee and invest in their development.” This cohesion has become a core competitive edge in weathering market fluctuations.

Looking Ahead: Quality as Rudder, Innovation as Sail

When discussing industry prospects, Mr. Li expressed confidence: “Clothing is an essential industry. As long as we uphold quality and innovation, we can remain unbeatable in global competition.” He revealed to the ITCPE team that Fuyang Printing will focus on three key directions for the future: first, deepening cooperation with high-end brands and expanding high-value-added product lines; second, increasing R&D in eco-friendly printing technologies to align with global sustainable development trends; third, exploring new opportunities in the Southeast Asian market and getting closer to customer needs through localized operations.

From a “pioneer” establishing roots in Vietnam 20 years ago to an industry “benchmark” today, Fuyang Printing’s growth trajectory exemplifies the value of “long-termism”. In Mr. Li’s view, a company’s vitality hinges not just on scale and profits, but on its unwavering commitment to quality and responsibility to employees. “Going forward, we will continue to steer with quality as our rudder and sail with innovation as our wind, creating greater value for global customers.”

In the tide where globalization and localization intersect, Fuyang Printing has taken quality as its foundation, integrity as its bridge, and innovation as its wings. It has not only written a successful sample of Chinese enterprises “going global” but also injected new momentum into the upgrading of Vietnam’s manufacturing industry.
