Education Highlights
The recent event on Next-Gen bio-materials and fiber innovation, moderated by the experienced Thomasine Dolan Dow, proved to be a fascinating exploration into the evolving landscape of sustainable materials in the fashion industry.
Drawing on over 25 years of expertise, Thomasine skillfully guided the panel discussion, featuring distinguished innovators Saloni Gupta, Jen Keane, Julie Willoughby, PhD., and Martin Stübler. The insightful conversation delved into their respective journeys, navigating from concept to product development, highlighting the pivotal roles of science, investors, and technology in achieving their ambitious goals.
Following the engaging panel discussion, attendees had the unique opportunity to embark on an “Explore the Floor Tour” at the Next-Gen Innovation Hub, hosted by the Material Innovation Initiative. Thomasine Dolan Dow, along with the innovators, provided an up-close look at their groundbreaking products, fostering in-depth discussions and addressing questions from the audience.

Spring/Summer 2025 Trends in Fashion, Footwear and Accessories
The last day of our Textile Talk series concluded with Milena Buterello from the Arsutoria School. Milena was able to give her expertise through her 20 years of experience in design and product development within the footwear and accessories category with brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Diesel, Levi’s and Samsonite. This new feature to the show was a success and brought inspiration to all industry leaders.
