Time to change your wardrobe as Doha Festival City (DFC) has launched its highly anticipated 2nd Fashion Festival for the three weekends of November.
DFC General Manager Robert Hall, said:“This November, Festival City will transform into a runway featuring the latest collections of worldwide celebrated brands. We look forward to this exciting Fashion Festival, and to offer our guests unique experience and memorable moments”.
Eighteen fashion shows will be featured which started yesterday and will last until November 20. DFC’s centre court will be transformed into a runway as it will showcase an array of the mall’s exclusive retailers’ latest collections.
The happening which will occur every Thursday, Friday and Saturday will host three fashion shows at 7pm, 7.30pm, and 8pm. The public can witness a broad selection of bridal wear, evening wear, sports wear and casual wear collections from DFC’s local and global retailers.
Meanwhile, a selection of retailers will also showcase their Fall/Winter collections in fashion pods located in several areas across the mall.
The event will also be streamed online via their official Facebook page Doha Festival City.
Yesterday, the fashion show featured Aura luxury evening and wedding dresses brand; Alma Noval Bridal Boutique; and AVA – a modern chic that caters to glamour outfits in any occasion, day and night.
Today, it will highlight collection from Monsoon Apparel; Salam Kido, a kids premium fashion brands; and Mothercare, the premier global retailer in the mother, baby and children’s market.
On Saturday, the spotlight is on the United Kingdom brands such as the online fashion retailer Boohoo, the ever-famous Debenhams, and George W Davis.
Meanwhile, on November 11, parades will be dedicated for sports brands including NBA, the global premier source for NBA Clothing and gear; Go Sport, the largest and leading sports chain store; and wrapping up is Fila sportswear.
Ready to change to winter clothes? On November 12, the festival will feature the latest winter clothing collections from LC Waikiki, a multi-cultural trendy clothes brand at an affordable price; MAX, global fast fashion brand; and Napapijri, an Italian premium casual-wear brand.
On November 13, shows will be focused on American unisex premium fashion brands including American Eagle and Armani Exchange, and upscale-casual Dutch apparel Scotch & Soda.
The third week of the show will highlight on exotic women fashion: By Nour Couture, Verona, and Fouad Sarkis known as“Stars Designer” will conclude the November 19 event. A mix of Italian and Turkish clothing and luxury dresses will be featured on November 19 including Hera, List Roma, and Ciragan Dantel.
The final of the Fashion Festival, November 20, will conclude with the latest collections of high-end fashion retailer Harvey Nichols, shedding light on its exclusive women and men collections through three dedicated fashion shows.
The official make-up sponsor for the first two weeks of the event will be the iconic Bristish make-up Charlotte Tilbury; and on the last week, world renowned beauty and makeup products brand MAC.
Moreover, Maison de Joelle, DFC’s lavish haven of beauty and another official partner will offer splendid makeup throughout the shows together with Cuts and Colours taking care of the kids’ hairstyle, while 1847 salon creating unique hairstyling for the models during the said event.
DFC’s favorite tea-and-desserts spot, glamorous L’Eto Café, will be the festival’s catering partner, offering mouth-watering canapes and delicious drinks to the guests.
