Dilo Systems GmbH, a global leader in needling technology and complete nonwoven production lines, has been nominated for the prestigious IDEA Achievement Award 2025 in recognition of its MicroPunch innovation. The announcement comes just ahead of the company’s joint press conference with Kansan Group at IDEA 2025 in Miami, set to take place on April 29th at 2:00 p.m. at Booth 1207 (Kansan).
The MicroPunch technology was developed in response to rising energy costs and global water scarcity, offering a sustainable and efficient solution for lightweight nonwoven production. By reducing energy consumption by up to 75% compared to traditional consolidation methods, MicroPunch significantly lowers production costs and environmental impact, all while maintaining high-performance output through advanced needling densities.
In another major development, Dilo Systems GmbH has announced a strategic partnership with Kansan Group, a leading Turkish provider of nonwoven converting and Wetlaid equipment. Together, the two companies aim to offer comprehensive turnkey solutions that integrate Dilo’s fiber preparation, carding, hydroentanglement, and needling technologies with Kansan’s converting, packaging, and wetlaid systems.
The partnership will allow customers worldwide to benefit from end-to-end engineering, simplified sourcing, and enhanced technical performance, with Dilo Systems acting as the main contractor for engineering and integration.
Dilo and Kansan will provide more insights and unveil detailed plans during their press conference at IDEA. All industry professionals and media representatives are invited to attend.
