The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) announced on Wednesday that Chinese companies are increasingly eager to host and participate in trade exhibitions abroad.
According to CCPIT spokesperson Zhang Xin, companies throughout China have demonstrated a heightened interest in engaging with overseas exhibitions, with Asia, Western Europe, and North America standing out as the most crucial markets for Chinese enterprises in terms of exhibition participation this year.
Zhang revealed during a press conference that comprehensive exhibitions and those focusing on the textile and machinery sectors continued to be the primary destinations for Chinese businesses. However, there has been a notable surge in interest in exhibitions related to medical and health care, transport and logistics, as well as information and telecommunication.
Notably, Chinese enterprises are not only participating in overseas exhibitions but are also showing a keen interest in organizing such events. Zhang emphasized that the range and impact of these exhibitions have witnessed significant improvements.
In response to this growing trend, CCPIT is set to play a supportive role by offering assistance to Chinese enterprises looking to participate in or organize overseas exhibitions, ensuring a broader global presence for Chinese businesses. Zhang Xin expressed optimism about the prospects of Chinese enterprises in the international market, anticipating increased collaboration and exchange through these exhibitions.
