The governor of Lorestan observed that this sector has remained robust and has not collapsed despite challenging times of the Corona pandemic and that: In the initial phase, 350 new sewing-related employment were established, and currently, 100 more people are being recruited to the collection and instruction.
There are currently 1,850 textile workers in Borujerd, and that figure will soon rise to 2,000.
The Borujerd textile factory now includes a novel stage called tailoring, which is distinct from other textile factories in that it covers every aspect of the textile business.
In 1362, the Borujerd Textile Complex Company was founded in the southeast of Borujerd City, Lorestan Province, which is situated in the west of Iran, on a 50-hectare plot of land with an investment of 15 billion Rials. 5 factories are housed in a compound with 124,000 square meters of infrastructure. The factories produce 20 million meters of fabric annually, including sofa covers, bed linens, curtain fabric, and clothing.
