Messe Frankfurt India Unites Three Major Shows Under One Roof

A Strategic Merger to Strengthen India’s Consumer Goods Sector

The Indian subsidiary of Messe Frankfurt has announced a new strategic direction by bringing together three of its leading trade fairs — Interior Lifestyle India, Paperworld India, and the Corporate Gifts Show — into one unified event. The first combined edition will take place from 19 to 22 March 2020 at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai.

This strategic reorganization aims to create a comprehensive sourcing hub for India’s rapidly growing market in interiors, lifestyle products, stationery, and corporate gifting. With rising demand for luxury interiors, contemporary designs, and customized products across homes and offices, Messe Frankfurt India is offering a one-stop platform for trade buyers to explore innovations across multiple segments.

A Comprehensive Platform Covering Interiors, Stationery, and Gifting

Under the new structure, Messe Frankfurt India will rebrand and reorganize its consumer goods portfolio:

  • The Stationery & Write Show presented by Paperworld will now be known as Paperworld India, aligning it with the global Paperworld brand.
  • The well-known fairs Heimtextil India and Ambiente India will now come under the unified banner of Interior Lifestyle India.

The combined event will feature an extensive product spectrum — from stationery, office and school supplies, and corporate gifts and promotional merchandise, to home décor, furnishings, and lifestyle accessories. This convergence will make the show a must-visit for designers, retailers, distributors, corporate buyers, and sourcing professionals seeking new products and inspiration.

Enhancing Synergies and Expanding Opportunities

According to Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holding Ltd.,

“While the exhibitions will individually retain their focus, features, and exhibits, the collaboration will expand and enhance product offerings for trade visitors and synergise industry sourcing.”

By hosting these three exhibitions simultaneously, Messe Frankfurt India aims to maximize cross-industry engagement, increase visitor footfall, and offer exhibitors wider exposure to diverse yet complementary markets.

The combined platform reflects Messe Frankfurt’s global commitment to evolving with market trends and providing integrated solutions that meet the dynamic needs of India’s flourishing consumer goods and design sectors.
