Inditex, the Spanish fashion giant that owns Zara, launched its renowned brand Pull & Bear as an online only player in the US.
The US shoppers will now be able to order their fashion items from Pull & Bear through web. The US becomes the brand’s 34th online market in the world.
Besides, Inditex runs 94 Zara outlets, 3 stores of Massimo Dutti and 1 of Bershka in the USA.
Going as a full online player in the US is Inditex’s major step towards selling its product in every corner of the globe by 2020.
Pull & Bear is majorly competing with youth-targeted US rivals that include Abercrombie & Fitch Co.’s Hollister Co., Forever 21 and Brandy Melville.
Meanwhile, Pull & Bear is also marketing a limited edition of T-shirts themed to hit Netflix’s show “Stranger Things.” This decision is striking considering the retailer’s wariness regarding advertising and excessive marketing.
Inditex currently operates 8 brands in as many as 96 nations with more than 7,000 outlets.
