Xaar shows new printhead at Shanghai Ad and Sign expo

Xaar, a leading independent manufacturer of piezo-based drop-on-demand inkjet technologies based in UK, is displaying its Xaar 1201 printhead at the ongoing 26th Shanghai International Ad and Sign expo, which is being held from March 28 to 31, 2018, at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre (NECC), in Shanghai, China, in booth C1653, hall 3.

The strong presence this year is largely the result of the partnership with Guangzhou HaoCheng International in Greater China. The application and integration expertise of Guangzhou HaoCheng is helping OEMs bring to market graphics, industrial, and textiles printers with this versatile printhead.

Rapid adoption of the Xaar 1201 by printer manufacturers in Asia is taking place because it is a highly productive printhead capable of jetting multiple ink types such as aqueous, UV, and eco-solvent. It is easy to align so that it is possible to have multiple print-heads on a single head plate. In addition, the Xaar 1201 can be used for a wide range of textiles, graphics, and industrial applications such as direct-to-garment, outdoor graphics, indoor back-lit signage graphics, and many more.

Through its collaboration with Guangzhou HaoCheng, Xaar provides printer manufacturers with an extensive and stable supply chain and full integration support.

Bob Bobertz, Xaar’s director of sales, Asia said, “Our OEM partners have been delighted with the performance and versatility of our Xaar 1201 printhead and this is reflected in the number of new printer launches with the Xaar 1201 that we are seeing at Asian graphics and textiles shows this year. Those who want to see the printhead in action can visit many of our printer partners who will be displaying working printers.
