The organisers of Denimsandjeans Japan show have announced the revised dates for the first edition, which will now be held on September 29-30, 2020. The Japan show was originally scheduled on March 4-5 at Sunshine City, Tokyo, but was postponed in view of the growing threat of Coronavirus, which WHO has declared a global health emergency.
“We have been studying the situation regarding the development of coronavirus. Though at the moment it is difficult to predict how long it will keep on affecting global trade and travel, we are really hoping that it will be overcome in the coming months.
“We also know that the global medical community, especially the Chinese medical community and people in general at this moment, are resilient and will overcome this scourge soon. Keeping all factors in mind, including international trade calendar, suitability for exhibitor and buyer visits, we decided to organise our show on new dates, i.e. September 29-30,” said Denimsandjeans founder Sandeep Agarwal.
“All other factors like location, timings, etc remain the same. We hope that all those international visitors who were held up/cancelled their visits due to the virus situation would be able to replan and visit the fair,” Agarwal added.
The Vietnam show which is on May 28-29 and the India show which is on July 8-9 will be held as per the schedule.
